The home based Super Eagles are intensifying their training ahead of their crucial African Nations Championship CHAN 2025 qualifier against Ghana’s Black Galaxies. Currently, 30 players are in camp in Ikenne, Ogun State, undergoing rigorous double training sessions daily as they gear up for the encounter.
The first leg is set to take place at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, December 22, with the return leg scheduled for Saturday, December 28, at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo. The rivalry is intense, with Ghana historically proving a difficult opponent, having eliminated Nigeria from CHAN qualification in 2009 and 2023.
The stakes are high as the Nigerian team seeks redemption and a place in the CHAN finals.
