News of another milestone for Nigerian football as Super Falcons midfielder, Jennifer Echegini, clinches the Most Valuable Player award for the best U23 star in the Women’s Serie A. Since joining Juventus from Florida State Seminoles in January, Echegini has dramatically influenced the league.
The 23 year old midfielder notched up 10 goals and an assist in 16 appearances, shining brightly with a hat-trick against Fiorentina in March, a crucial win that propelled Juventus into the next season’s UEFA Women’s Champions League.
